Okay, so once again I was bad and did not post last week. I need to stop being busy. And sick. Strep throat is no fun. Anyway. Here we go!

Found this baby bird on our deck in the backyard one afternoon. I think it's a mourning dove? Maybe?

C and I were out walking one day around sunset and her hair was looking especially vibrant in the sunlight, especially through my sunglasses. In an attempt to show her, I took a this picture by putting my sunglasses in front of the camera lens on my phone. Looks pretty cool, but I swear it looked even more vibrant in person.

I have no idea what's going on here. But it looks cool.

Guess who still knows how to make a Cootie Catcher/Fortune Teller? That's right, Me! Who's impressed?

Weeks later, R found the missing chunk to C's sunglasses! We all thought Kirby ate it, so this is very exciting. We are going to try to reattach it with super glue.

Woke up Saturday morning to find my yard covered in snow!

R and I went to the beach near our future apartment, and I had to stick my feet in the water. Was the water freezing? Yes. But anyone who knows me knows that I cannot go to the beach and not stick my feet in the water. In case anyone is wondering, this picture was in fact taken the same day as the previous picture with the snow in our yard. Gotta love that Chicago weather!!!

I've recently become really interested in this whole "weekly iPhone dump" trend. So many people have cell phones these days, and we're all using them to photograph the world around us. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the pictures on their phones. My own phone has so many pictures on it, that while on vacation recently, I had to delete some apps off of my phone to make room for more pictures. I will definitely be getting the 64GB iPhone next time. Anyway, here it is. My life in pictures. Thanks to Photo Stream, posting these pictures is easier than ever. I'm going to try to post at least once a week. We'll see how that goes. This week, I'm posting a few select photos from the past few months.

Banana pancakes! Found these on Pinterest. Throw a banana and two eggs in a blender, and you've magically got pancake batter. Try it! It works!
